Qugcuun Memorial School

Qugcuun Memorial School is located in Kuiggayagaq (Oscarville), Alaska which is part of the Lower Kuskokwim School District.
We serve kindergarten through 12th grade in our school. We are a Dual Language Lite site. We teach students in at least one Yup'ik, our heritage language, class through high school.  Our site is small, but we like to say it is mighty.

Our school population is now 13 strong!
Student population:  We have four students in the grades K-1st. There are three students in 3rd-6th grades. Six students are in 9th-12th grade.
School Staff: In the following year, we will have our site administrator, a certified teacher, and three classified staff in our small but mighty site. :)
Activities: We participate in most district sponsored extra curricular activities such as Speech Contest, Robotics, Spelling Bee, Science Fair, and Battle of the Books.  Sports extra curricular activities include Native Youth Olympics, cross country, and basketball.
